The police should get involved and prevent the provocations,” said Valeriu Mitul.
He also said that the unconstitutional authorities put two strategies into practice. “If they do not manage to hinder the people from voting, they will make everything possible for the person they fielded to win the elections,” stated Valeriu Mitul. He also said that he will ask the Moldovan constitutional authorities to take all the measures possible to prevent the provocations.
Earlier, co-chairperson of the Joint Control Commission on behalf of Moldova Ion Solonenko said the Transnistrian delegation to the Commission informed that the Cossack organizations will stage provocations on June 5. According to Solonenko, the Commission will take all the necessary measures so as not to destabilize the situation in the Security Zone.
