Liberal MP Corina Fusu is for the ratification of the Association Agreement with the EU. She considers that the European integration will allow the Moldovans to regain human dignity.
Within an inquiry held by IPN among lawmakers, Corina Fusu said that the European course for Moldova was proposed by the Liberal Party in the local elections of 2007. “We also put forward ideas and European reforms for the municipality of Chisinau. At municipal level, we reached particular standards in the management of public money, setting of tariffs, distribution of allowances, etc.” she stated.
She added that the Liberal Party has always promoted the European values and the integration into the EU. The European integration is the only solution for modernizing Moldova because the laws function in the EU and the human rights are respected there. In the EU the Moldovans will regain their dignity and will live better. That’s why she will vote with both of her hands, if it’s possible.
Moldova will sign the Association Agreement with the EU on June 27. The accord is to be ratified by Moldova’s Parliament by the end of the current session.
