The waste collected in Chisinau will continue to be taken to the landfill in Țânțăreni village of Anenii Noi district. The Chisinau City Hall prolonged the contract for another year, deputy mayor Ilie Ceban announced in the ordinary meeting of officials of Chisinau services, being quoted by IPN.
The functionary invited the officials in charge of the Public Amenities Division, “Apă-Canal Chisinau”, “Autosalubritate” and “Exdrupo” to come together for a meeting to review the obligations stipulated in the contract, to incorporate them into the action plans for this year and to set the deadlines for taking action. “In accordance with the old contract, particular works were initiated in November-December and will be completed when the weather permits,” stated Ilie Ceban.
The waste collected in Chisinau has been stored at the landfill in Țânțăreni, Anenii Noi. The old contract was valid until December 31, 2020.
