The new national commission for European integration approved of an internal action plan on continuing to carry out the reforms of modernizing and europeanizing Moldova, at a sitting chaired by President Vladimir Voronin, Info-Prim Neo has learnt from the presidential press service. According to the communique, the adopted document includes the priorities of the Moldovan authorities in their relationships with the EU. Especially they emphasize the commitments from the Moldova-EU Action Plan, but also the recommendations of the European partners in certain areas, mirrored in the progress report. Vladimir Voronin has asked the Government to keep on a permanent dialog with the EU, and to strictly monitor the process of drafting laws to harmonize the national legislation with the European one, and of applying the laws already adopted. They agreed to convene the sitting of the European Integration Commission once a week and to insure the media's wide access to it. They also decided as important to invite to thr sittings the representatives of the European bodies accredited to Moldova. On May 27, in Brussels, President Voronin will lead the Moldovan delegation to the sitting of the Moldovan-EU Cooperation Council. The opposition political formations and the civil society are not represented in the European Integration National Commission.
