The commission for presenting the National Award has announced this year’s edition of the National Award contest, IPN reports, quoting the Government’s press service.
The participants will compete individually or collectively in such areas as science, technology, culture arts and sports. The candidates will be fielded by the competent ministries, the Academy of Sciences of Moldova, universities, creation unions, etc.
Recommendation letters with the indication of the National Award area and the works of candidates are to be submitted to the commission - 1 Great National Assembly Square, Government Building, State Chancellery, office 647 - by 4pm on July 28.
Annually, in the events dedicated to the Independence Day, the Government confers ten national awards to the value of 100,000 lei each in gratitude for prompting the innovative spirit and for accomplishments that increase the country’s prestige abroad.
