The Superior Council of Prosecutors has announced a public contest to choose members of its three boards from among representatives of civil society. Applications to take part in the contest can be submitted to the Council’s secretariat, IPN reports.
In the meeting of the Superior Council of Prosecutors, rapporteur Constantin Șușu said that five posts are currently vacant: one on the Board for the Selection and Career of Prosecutors and by two on the Board for the Assessment of Performance of Prosecutors and the Discipline and Ethics Board.
The candidates must have an irreproachable reputation and be recognized in their area of activity.
Given the pandemic, the deadline for submissions was extended for ten days to 30 workdays. The time limit is June 18.
