The seventh-eleventh graders from the municipality of Chisinau are invited to take part in the municipal stage of the international contest of recitals of lyric poems written by Mihai Eminescu “La Putna”. This will take place at the Academic Center “Mihai Eminescu” on June 22 starting at 1pm, IPN reports.
The General Division of Education, Youth and Sport of the Chisinau Municipal Council said those who want can register through the email address irc.chisinau@gmail.com by June 20, indicating the name/surname, education institution, class and poem that will be recited.
The students who will rank first, second and third and will get honorable mentions of the first, second and third degrees will benefit from an execution during August 13 – 14 and will take part in the award ceremony at the Putna Monastery, where they will recite poems by Eminescu at the poem’s bust together with students from Romania and Ukraine.
The contest forms part of the international project “Eminescian Routes” that is supported by the Suceava County Council, the Cultural Center “Bucovina”, the Suceava County School Inspectorate, the Putna Monastery and the Bucovina Traditions Support Center. The Eminescu Academic International Center is the local partner.
