Contest of grants for environmental protection activities

The Small Grants Program of the Global Environment Facility offers grants to nongovernmental and community organizations (NGOs/CSOs) from developing countries to enable these to cope with global environmental challenges, IPN reports.

According to the South Regional Development Agency, a grant can amount to at most US$50,000. Applications can be submitted by June 30, 2018. The NGOs and CSOs are invited to submit proposals in the fields of interest of the program, such as landscape conservation land at the community level, agroecology innovative smart in terms of climate change, chemicals management coalition of local and global, platforms for political dialogue and planning between CSOs and government, etc.
