The Consumer Protection Agency announced that it moves to a new head office in order to be closer to consumers and economic entities. From June 23, the Agency will be based at 78. Vasile Alecsandri St - first floor (direct access for consumers), and fifth floor (the administrative corps), IPN reports.
“The experience of the European states shows that the state consumer protection authorities are usually situated in the central districts of capital cities so that they are within easy reach,” it is said in a communiqué issued by the institution.
The change of the head office of the Consumer Protection Agency forms part of the process of reforming the institution by implementing the best European practices and by facilitating people’s access to the provided services.
