President Nicolae Timofti will hold separate consultations with the parliamentary groups of the Liberal Democratic Party, the Democratic Party, and the Liberal Party in the afternoon of May 7, IPN reports.
According to an announcement made by the Presidential Office, the consultations aimed at identifying a new candidate for premiership will start at the President’s Residence at 14.30.
The consultations represent a new attempt to identify a candidate for Prime Minister after the Constitutional Court decided that the ex-Premier, the leader of the Liberal Democratic Party Vlad Filat cannot apply for a public post.
