As of January 22, each Friday, the Consular Section of the Embassy of Romania in Chisinau will house only sessions to take an oath of allegiance to Romania, the Embassy specified in a press release that is quoted by IPN.

This way, the applicants will be able to register for a session to take an oath from Monday to Friday between 8:00am and 1:00pm and between 2:00pm and 4:00pm. Services to collect notarial and civil status documents, passports and visas will be provided from Monday to Thursday between 8:00am and 1:00pm and between 2:00pm and 4:00pm. The civil status documents and visas will be issued from Monday to Thursday between 8:00am and 1:00pm, while passports will be issued from Monday to Thursday between 2:00pm and 4:00pm.

Access to the Consular Section will be permitted with a face mask and without symptoms associated with COVID-19, by maintaining physical distancing and presenting the email confirming the appointment date. Only eight-ten persons will be allowed to enter the waiting hall. The adults are asked to come to the Consular Section not accompanied by minors.

The consular services are free of charge. Appointments can be scheduled only through ww.econsulat.ro.
