Constructions totaled about MDL 2.7 bln since the beginning of the year

755 construction companies from the republic operated in the period between January and October, current year, contract works estimated at about MDL 2.7 bln marking a 21%, compared to the same period of last year. The amount of works executed on average per enterprise was about MDL 3.6 mln. According to the data provided by the National Statistics Bureau the growth is due to private enterprises, which performed 83% of the works. The main proportion is covered by investment works – about MDL 2 bln, the rate of which in the total volume of executed works represented 75%. The costs of restorations and repairs constituted MDL 682 mln, or 25% from the total amount of executed contract works. More than 75% from the total volume of construction-assembling works have been executed by companies from the Municipality of Chisinau. Only 28 enterprises out of those 755 are state-run. There were 661 private companies, 51 joint property, and 4 foreign companies.
