The Constitutional Court on February 23 validated the seats of 12 MPs from the lists of substitute candidates of the PLDM, PCRM, PDM and PL, IPN reports.
The Liberal-Democratic faction will be joined by Petru Stirbate, Maria Ciobanu, Ion Balan (who were members of the previous legislature) and Aliona Gota (mayor of Cucoara village of Cahul district).
The newcomers of the parliamentary group of the Democratic Party are Efrosinia Gretu (head of the Leova District Council), Eugeniu Nichiforciuc (doctor), Nicolae Molozea (economist), and Vladimir Andronachi (corporate sales manager).
The substitute candidate of the Party of Communists is Elena Gudumac (teacher).
The substitute candidates of the Liberals are Mihaela Iacob (deputy head of the General Division of Architecture, Urbanism and Land Relations of the Chisinau City Hall), Ion Casian (lawyer) and Vladimir Cernat (administrator).
The 12 will occupy the seats of MP vacated by those who chose to hold another post. These include seven ministers.
