The Chisinau municipality is planning a series of cultural and artistic activities, including a concert, for August 31, when the national holiday Limba Noastra is celebrated.
Marina Damian, of the Culture Department, told the City Hall’s meeting on Monday that in the first part of the day, beginning at 10:00AM, demonstrations will be held in the Ștefan cel Mare Park. The second part of the festivities will be organized starting at 7:00 PM, at the intersection between Grigore Vieru Boulevard and Eugen Doga pedestrian street. A concert will be held featuring the Cristofor Aldea-Teodorovici Orchestra and Natalia Barbu and Cătălin Josanu as guest stars, said Damian.
In early September, the Romanian city of Piatra Neamț will host the Chisinau Days. This will include concerts featuring the Vali Boghean Band, Camerata Chisinau, Mariana Bulicanu, Aliona Triboi and the band Brio Sonoris. Also, a painting exhibition will be organized by the members of the Plastic Artists Union, with plastic artist Simion Zamșa as its coordinator.
