The list of permanent members of the Commission for Exceptional Situations (CES) was revised and its composition was complemented with substitute members with voting rights. Thus, if permanent members cannot attend meetings, they can delegate functional duties to substitute members through individual administrative documents, IPN reports.
The CES was joined by Minister of Energy Victor Parlicov and Minister of Infrastructure and Regional Development Andrei Spînu.
The CES no longer includes the director general of the Agency for Land Relations and Cadaster, the director of “Moldsilva” Agency, the governor of the Autonomous Territorial Unit of Gagauzia, the president of the Audiovisual Council and the ombudsperson.
Also, the list was supplemented with a substitute member for each of the 26 CES members.
According to Minister of the Interior Adrian Efros, the amendments are designed to eliminate the discrepancies existing in the normative framework and to strengthen the decision-making and operational capacity of the Commission for Exceptional Situations.
