Five families from Cahul district that were affected by the floods caused by the torrential rain of last September will receive compensations, IPN reports, quoting a Government decision.
A sum of 262,000 lei will be allocated to the Cahul District Council from the Government’s revere fund for the purpose. The compensations will vary between 30,000 and 95,000 lei, depending on the damage caused by the floods.
A number of houses were damaged by the torrential rain in the period between September 11 and September 15, 2013.
