People registered in the "Help on the meter" system have started to receive in their personal cabinet notifications about the compensation granted by the state for January, IPN reports.
In the cabinet is indicated the amount of compensation for the main source of heating and electricity. The size of compensation for previous months is also indicated.
"The amount of compensation depends on income, the number of household members, their status and the type of the main heating source," the consumer's cabinet says.
The authorities state that they will adjust the amount of compensation whenever the tariff is increased.
From what the beneficiaries have observed, the compensation for the main source of heating remains at last month's level, while the total amount increases on account of the 200 lei compensation for light, which is equal for all eligible applicants.
For the coming months, from the aid announced by the EU, the Government will compensate the tariff increase for the first 110 KWh of the electricity bill for all consumers, regardless of whether or not they are registered in the "Help on meter" system. The mechanism for the compensation has not yet been specified.
