A company plans to collect worn tires in Chisinau, for which it will suggest several subsidization methods. The information was communicated by Mayor General Dorin Chirtoaca in the ordinary meeting of Chisinau City Hall officials, IPN reports.
The mayor said that he discussed with the economic entity the possibility of developing a network of auto repair stations where the people can bring the worn tires. The tires will be used as energy to produce cement. This way the atmospheric pollution level will be reduced as the tires will not be burned in the open air.
