Companies informed about prospects of comprehensive and free trade area with EU

Companies working on the right and left bank of the Nistru River in a seminar have been familiarized with the prospects of creating the deep and comprehensive free trade area with the EU and its costs and benefits, Info-Prim Neo reports, quoting a communique from the Foreign Policy Association. According to the Association, the seminar served as a platform for identifying the problems conforming the companies and finding solutions to them. In the context of the discussions, there were formulated recommendations for the confidence building working group on economic problems. The seminar was held on November 5 and 6 in Odessa. It was attended by representatives of the Moldovan authorities and the Transnistrian administration responsible for economic and commercial matters as well as by members of the diplomatic corps working in Chisinau. The seminary forms part of the Transnistrian Dialogues Project that is implemented by the Foreign Policy Association in partnership with the Association of Independent Political Researchers of Transnistria and is financed by the Swedish Embassy Moldova, Finish Embassy in Bucharest and the UK Embassy in Chisinau.
