Communists tell Ionita: Don’t play with fire

The MPs have exchanged harsh replies in Parliament this morning. Communist lawmaker Oleg Reidman told the Liberal-Democrat MP Veaceslav Ionita not to play with the fire. The advice was given in the context of the discussions about the meeting of the parliamentary commission on economy, budget and finance that was held before the legislature’s sitting, Info-Prim Neo reports. “The commission’s administration lies when it says that they worked this morning. A group of MPs met, but they did not invite the representatives of the opposition and we don’t trust the commission’s chairman Veaceslav Ionita,” said Oleg Reidman. Veaceslav Ionita replied that the Communist MPs were told to put forward their own amendments to the budgetary-fiscal policy, but they didn’t do it. “Our goal is to formulate good budgetary-fiscal policy, not to discuss in vain,” he said. Oleg Reidman said the Communist lawmakers proposed amendments, but they were appropriated either by the commission or certain members of the commission. The budgetary-fiscal policy is to be passed in second reading. The commission did not manage to prepare a report for today’s sitting and thus the bill will be debated in the December 23 meeting.
