Parliament violates the legislation on the election of the head of state, which provides that a special commission for registering candidates for the presidency must be constituted 45 days before the expiration of the term in office of the incumbent President, the leader of the Party of Communists Vladimir Voronin said in a news conference, quoted by IPN.

“Parliament violates the legislation on the election of the President. The special commission was to be created 45 days before the expiration of the tenure. We will see who runs for the presidency and will then take a decision whether to vote or not,” stated the Communists’ leader, refusing to say if he will run.

As to the bills that were adopted and are yet to be passed to improve the reformation process in the country, Vladimir Voronin said everything will be voted in a hurry so that the government could report that they did reforms to the external partners and these offered them money.

Communist MP Oleg Reidman noted that when the current government presents the budgetary-fiscal policy and draft state budget law for 2016 in Parliament, the Communists will insist that the budget should be used to develop and modernize the country.

Communist lawmaker Oxana Domenti said the people see that the social situation worsened and no statements adopted in Parliament contribute to its improvement. The current government ignores the health system, but the people suffer without investments in this sector. Things in the social sphere are even worse as the people’s incomes have become smaller.

In this connection, the Communists said that they will support only the legislative initiatives aimed at improving the situation in the country.
