The Communist Party has announced its Central Political Committee is rescheduling the plenary meeting initially planned on August 27 for September 3, it said in a press release.
The party explains the postponement of its 20th plenary meeting on the big number of festivities marking Independence Day, Our Language Day and “Knowledge Day” around the original date.
At their plenary meeting, the Communists are expected to discuss the party's position on the presidential elections this fall, in addition to a host of internal organizational issues.
