Communist MPs will seek dismissals at extraordinary sitting

The Communist parliamentary group will ask for dismissals in the January 21 extraordinary session of the legislature, the faction’s leader Vladimir Voronin said on Monday morning, Info-Prim Neo reports. “After the tragic accident of December 23, no explanations were provided and we don’t know what happened. They mislead us, saying that details will be given next week. The people are disorientated. We will demand that the legislation be respected,” the Communist leader told the press. Vladimir Voronin also said that they will demand discharging those who proposed for posts the persons who were involved in the hunting incident in the Domneasca Forest, in accordance with the agreement of the ruling alliance. He didn’t give names, saying he will do it in the Parliament’s sitting. The agenda of the January 21 extraordinary sitting includes two issues: the discharge of the prosecutor general, and the creation of a commission of inquiry into the December 23 accidental shooting of a man in the reserve “Padurea Domneasca”. The sitting starts at 12 midday.
