The people who gathered in front of the Palace of the Republic to support Prime Minister Vlad Filat booed the Communist lawmakers after the Parliament sitting where a vote of no confidence was given to the Government, Info-Prim Neo reports.
The crowd shouted insults at the MPs and tried to push them, but were stopped by the police.
About 1,000 people came together in front of the Palace of the Republic, demanding reanimating the Alliance for European Integration and keeping the Government. However, the MPs passed the censure motion against the Government proposed by the Communists. Vlad Filat is to announce the resignation of the Cabinet within three days.
