I believe presidential candidates will be registered this time,” said Vladimir Voronin. According to the Communist leader, the PCRM did not yet take a decision whether to field a candidate or not. “We cannot put forward a candidate for a number of reasons, but this is not a final decision. The party’s Central Committee will come together for a meeting to decide,” he stated. Vladimir Voronin also said that regardless of who is elected head of state and what is his or hers political orientation, it is important that the President respect the supreme law.
