Communist Party leader Vladimir Voronin has condemned the signing of a cooperation agreement between the Moldovan Ministry of the Interior and the Romanian Gendarmerie as an instrument that would allow Romania to intervene directly in public order matters in Moldova and thus help the current government remain in power “at any cost”, Info-Prim Neo reports. “The Party of Communists has appealed against this document at the Constitutional Court. And the Party of Communists has a few questions in this connection. No, these questions are not to Filat's and Ghimpu's parties. Everything is clear with them. I have questions to the Democratic Party and the Moldova Noastra Alliance. Why haven't they appealed to the Court?”, said Voronin, calling the latter two parties “the subsidiaries” of the former two. The Moldovan Ministry of the Interior and the Romanian Gendarmerie on July 27 signed an action plan on cooperation, experience exchange and specialization training in common fields of activity.
