The Communist members of the Chisinau Municipal Council (CMC) blocked the door to the meeting hall with a chair because the Liberal and Liberal-Democratic councilors didn’t return from the agreed break in time, IPN reports.
Councilor Victor Gurau suggested that the Communists should vote the municipal budget in the absence of the Liberal and Liberal-Democrats. “They stay like rats in their offices waiting for the Communists to leave so that they adopt the decisions they want. They violated the regulations when they voted until now. I think they will manage to adopt the budget too by midnight,” he stated.
When the news story was published, the CMC meeting didn’t resume.
