The charity foundation “From the Heart” managed by First Lady Galina Dodon will continue to help young talents, families with many children and Ellery people in the course of this year. In a press briefing on January 25, Rita Manole, a member of the foundation’s Board, said over 500 national kindergartens will be assisted this year and there will be built another 100 sports complexes, IPN reports.
To benefit from support within the national program intended for kindergartens, the administration of the institution or an initiative group of parents should file an application to the foundation. The application should have been approved by the local public authorities and should describe the problems faced by the kindergarten and where assistance is needed.
In the case of sports complexes, the local council should adopt a relevant decision and provide arguments in favor of the building of the sports complex in the community.
Rita Manole said the activities initiated last year will be continued. The assistance for different categories of people will be extended. The foundation also aims to offer about 10,000 schoolbags to children from socially deprived and one-parent families given the large number of such requests. Aid will be also provided to children with hearing impairments and elderly people.
