Commissions for checking the cleanness level in the yards of apartment buildings and areas adjoining private homes will be set up in each district of Chisinau. The commissions will also examine the areas near head offices of business entities, organizations, institutions and will impose fines if need be, IPN reports.
Under an order made by acting mayor of Chisinau Nistor Grozavu, the district commissions will consist of the deputy district head, who will act as chairperson, specialists of the local and general amenities division, the sector police officer and a specialist of the socio-ecological division.
The commissions will make field visits at least two times a week. If sanitary order is not ensured in the areas in charge, private individuals will face fines of up to 3,000 lei, while legal entities of up to 9,000 lei.
The district commissions will weekly present reports on the identified irregularities to the General Public Amenities Division. The reports will be later sent to the administrative commissions of the district head’s offices for examination.
