A commission that consists of representatives of the Ministry of Health, Labor and Social Protection and of the Ministry of Education, Culture and Research will examine all the files of the students of the State University of Medicine and Pharmacy “Nicolae Testemițanu”, from admission up to the issuing of the bachelor’s diplomas.
The commission was set up following press reports about the falsification of the diplomas of doctors from Israel, which were obtained in the Republic of Moldova as well, IPN reports, quoting the Ministry of Health.
An investigation published by the Russian language portal Vesti Israel reveals that a number of doctors, residents and pharmacists were arrested by the police in Israel on suspicion that they had false diplomas that were obtained from education institutions, including of the Republic of Moldova.
