Parliament on October 4 decided to constitute a commission of inquiry into the case of interference by the Foundation “Open Dialog” and its founder Ludmila Kozlowska in the internal affairs of the Republic of Moldova, IPN reports.

According to Democratic MP Sergiu Sârbu, the commission of inquiry will question involved persons and will present a report in Parliament within 30 days. The legislation bans the financing of parties with foreign funds and there will be probed the connections with national parties and the interference in the country’s internal affairs.

Liberal-Democratic MP Tudor Deliu advised Sergiu Sârbu to think before speaking as the commission wasn’t yet created, but he already formulates conclusions.

In his speech, another MP of the Liberal-Democratic group Vadim Pistrinciuc said this bill, if it was translated into the daily political language and if all the amiabilities and care for state security were removed, is nothing else but a draft law aimed at officially intimidating the opposition, namely the extraparliamentary one.

The commission of inquiry will consist of Democratic MPs Igor Vremea, Marcel Răducanu and Artur Reshetnikov, Socialist MPs Vasile Bolea and Adrian Lebedinski and Simion Grishchuk of the European People’s Parliamentary Group.
