Commerce and Industry Chamber marks professional day

The employees of the Moldovan Commerce and Industry Chamber (CIC) mark their professional day on September 6. The chamber announces in a press release that its goal is to create a healthy business environment in the country and to represent its members' interests in Moldova's external economic relations, Info-Prim Neo reports. From September 2007 to August 2008, the CIC organized the participation of Moldovan managers in 20 events in the country and abroad. At the same time, during the reference period, they strengthened the frame of cooperation among chambers by signing 4 new contracts with the Trade Chambers from Russia, Serbia, Portugal and the Czech Rep. The CIC has maintained positive dynamics in the area of expos and fairs, organizing 15 events in the capital and district centers, attended by over 500 companies from Moldova and abroad. The most important expo – “Made in Moldova”, the 7th edition – gathered a record number of participants – some 400 companies from all the country, including the Transnistrian area. For 5 years, the CIC has been successfully staged the contest “The Trademark of the Year”, which is said to be en efficient means to promote Moldovan trademarks to external markets. The Moldova Chamber is a non-governmental, autonomous and independent organization representing the interests of Moldovan entrepreneurs. Its constitution congress took place on September 6, 2002.
