Commemoration activities for March 2 will start in January

Deputy Prime Minister Mihai Moldovanu will coordinate the working group set up by the Government for organizing the events to commemorate 20 years of the start of the war for defending Moldova’s integrity and independence, Info-Prim Neo reports. The commemoration activities include meetings, commemorative meals, unveiling of monuments, historical-scientific conferences, book exhibitions, institution of a commemorative medal, provision of financial support to invalids and families of those who were killed in battle. The events will start in January and will end of March 2, when the war for defending Moldova’s integrity and independence began.
