Colibasi high school teaches children's rights best

The public association Inteco filmed ten lessons centering on the Convention on the Rights of the Child in education institutions of Cahul district during 15 days. The lessons were taught through games and instructive films. The theoretical high school “Vasile Alecsandri” in Colibasi village showed the best model of lesson, Info-Prim Neo reports, quoting a communique from Inteco. The project is aimed at testing new methods of teaching children's rights in pre-university eduction institutions in Moldova during the lessons given by class masters. The following high schools took part in the contest: “Mihai Eminescu” in Slobozia Mare, “Ion Creanga” in Zarneti, “Vasile Alecsandri” in Colibasi, “Mihai Eminescu” in Crihana Veche, “Ion Creanga”, “Ioan Voda” and “Mihai Eminescu” in Cahul town, and the high schools “Alecu Mare” in Slobozia Mare, “Nichita Stanescu” in Pascani and “A. Mateevici” in Manta. The prize of the contest will be handed over during the project assessment conference that will be held at the Cahul District Council on May 26. The partners of the project are the Ministry of Education and Youth of Moldova, the Cahul District Council, and the General Division of Education. The project is implemented with the financial support of the Swedish International Development Cooperation Agency and Soros Foundation-Moldova.
