This weekend is expected to be cold across the country. Saturday and Sunday nights will bring lows of -15 degrees Celsius. During the day, thermometers will rise to +2 degrees Celsius at most. No precipitation was forecast for the next week. Starting Monday, the weather will warm up slightly, with highs of +7 degrees Celsius, IPN reports.

The authorities warn of the dangers caused by ice and icicles that can detach themselves from roofs of buildings. The General Inspectorate for Emergency Situations urges the people to avoid walking around buildings, to bypass areas marked as dangerous and to clean the sidewalks in front of homes or shops.

The removal of snow, ice and icicles is not only a safety measure, but also a legal obligation. A moment of inattention can lead to serious accidents, which is why the authorities urge the citizens to be cautious and take measures to avoid incidents.
