CoE Secretary General expected in Chisinau

Council of Europe (CoE) Secretary General Terry Davis will make a visit to Moldova during March 5-6, Info-Prim Neo learned from the Moldovan MFA's press unit. Terry Davis is expected to hold meetings with Moldovan President Vladimir Voronin and Prime Minister Zinaida Greceanyi. Among the highlights of the discussions will be the cooperation between Moldova and CoE, the implementation of CoE's Action Plans and of the seven Joint Programs of the European Commission destined for Moldova. The CoE Secretary General will also visit the National Justice Institute, where he will meet the students, the members of the teaching staff and of the judicial institutions from Moldova. This will be the third visit of Terry Davis to Moldova as the Secretary General of the Council of Europe.
