Codreanca Health Center has been renovated

The Health Center in Codreanca, Straseni district, was renovated with the help of the United States. A new roof was built, the structures were fortified, a water supply system was installed, as well as sewage, electricity and telephone lines, Info-Prim Neo learned from a press release of the US Embassy in Chisinau. Attending the event, US Ambassador William H. Moser highlighted the importance of healthcare for the economic and social well-being of a nation. “This is a healthy gift from the US government and the American people. We hope our efforts will have an effect and improve Moldova’s future”, said the official. The Center serves 5,000 people from four nearby villages. It was in such a poor state that the Ministry of Health asked the US Embassy for help. The US European Command offered $364,000 for the renovation.
