CNSA of Kiev and Moscow coordinate their activity in Transnistrian zone

The National Councils of Security and Defence (CNSA) of Kiev and Moscow will strengthen the cooperation in the process of joint monitoring of Transnistrian sector at Moldovan-Ukrainian border in fighting smuggling, illegal migration, improving technical-material equipment of the border. This is the conclusion of the heads of those 2 services Anatolii Kinah and Igor Ivanov, after meeting in Moscow.
According to press service of SNSA in Kiev, the coordinated actions of those 2 Councils will include as well to ensure at maximum transition via Transnistrian region, without difficulties, according to new customs regulation at Moldovan-Ukrainian border.
Kinah mentioned in this context that Ukraine is further for regulation of Transnistrian conflict exclusively on peaceful and diplomatic ways, without violating territorial integrity of Moldova.
The critical situation around Transnistrian region appeared right after implementation on 3 March by Ukraine of the new customs regime that forbidden crossing of the goods without Moldova’s specimens. The decisions lead to critical reaction of Tiraspol and Moscow, but it is welcomed by the international community, considering it correct and according to international standards.
