The National House of Social Insurance (CNAS) said that it transferred the amounts needed to pay allowances intended for families with children, IPN reports, quoting a press release of the institution.
A sum of 24.9 million lei was transferred for paying the one-off childbirth allowance, 27.4 million lei for paying the monthly child benefit up to the child’s age of two, 119.4 million lei for paying the monthly child benefit up to the child’s age of 2.2 year or three years, 1.2 million lei for paying the monthly support benefit up to the age of three of twins or more children born at a single birth and 1.9 million lei for paying the paternity benefit.
The families with children can ask for allowances intended for them by filing an application through the service “e-Application. Allowances”.
On the official website of the CNAS, www.cnas.md, or on the governmental public services gateway https://servicii.gov.md/ecnas, the parents can ask for all the aforementioned allowances.
The electronic application is accepted only if the applicant and the child can be found on the State Population Register and the ties of kindred between the applicant and the child is confirmed based on information from the Register.
Up to this moment, the CNAS has financed pensions, allowances for temporary incapacity for work, lifetime allowances for professional athletes, the one-off support, compensations, death benefit, financial assistance and allowances intended for families with children totaling 1.632,7 billion lei.
