The central authorities are generally ready to assist in implementing the national anticorruption strategy, but the inferiors express opposition, Vitalie Verebceanu, head of the Anticorruption Division of the National Anticorruption Center (CNA), said in an ordinary meeting of the group for monitoring the implementation of the strategy, IPN reports.

Vitalie Verebceanu said employees of the CNA were insulted by an employee of the Law Division of the Ministry of Health, when he was asked to implement the strategy. The CNA informed the Ministry’s administration, asking that they take attitude to this case.

The plan of action for implementing the national anticorruption strategy for 2014-2015 was adopted by a Parliament Decision on May 16. The costs will be 82% covered with money from the budgets of the public authorities, while 18% of the measures will be carried out with money provided within assistance projects implemented by NGOs or by the authorities.

The CNA started to assess the risks of informal payments in the health protection system, the penitentiary system, the Border Police and the National Army. As to the Baccalaureate exams, the CNA employee said this year they received again complaints about acts of corruption during the exams, but the information will be made public later, after it is synthesized.
