CMC to reduce on Thursday Municipality’s personnel

The Chisinau Municipal Council (CMC) will examine, on Thursday, June 8, at a meeting the revised personnel chart of the Mayoralty and of the municipal services, expected to be reduced considerably despite the arguments brought by the heads of these structures. Another two issues included in the schedule of the meeting refer to transmitting for administration to CMC of several energetic objects, and to the position of the interim secretary of the Chisinau Municipal Council. Neither this time the issue regarding adjusting the tariffs in the public transport of Chisinau municipality is not included in the schedule of the meeting. The General Department of Public Transport and Communication ways solicited several times the adoption of a proper decision. The administration of the Department suggested that CMC should take all the responsibility for the continuous worsening of the financial situation of the transport economic agents in the summer period when the inflow of passengers is modest. The interim Mayor of Chisinau Vasile Ursu declared previously that the Thursday meeting was convened for the approval of the new staff chart, imposed through a Governmental decision.
