The Chisinau Municipal Council on June 14 will hold its first meeting after the election of the new mayor of the capital city, IPN reports.
The agenda includes 36 issues, such as the designing of the Ungheni-Chisinau natural gas pipeline, foundation of the service “Resource and support center children and youth” and “Assisted social home”, provision of assistance to primary and secondary education teachers, assistance for particular categories of citizens for traveling free by public units of transport, etc.
The Chisinau District Electoral Council sent to court the final proceedings concerning the result of the mayoral runoffs that were won by Andrei Nastase. As of June 11, the judges have 10 days to validate the election outcome.
