A commission made up from ten local councilors and two direction chiefs from the Chisinau City Hall will consider the situation of the former kindergarten buildings which were leased, the Municipal Council (CMC) ruled on June 26, Info-Prim Neo reports. The proposal was forwarded by Communist councilor Ludmila Muraviova at the sitting of June 6, when the power split occurred in the CMC. The members of the commission are: the head of the Education Direction Tatiana Nagnibeda-Tverdohleb, the head of the Economy Direction Mihela Iacob and councilors Loreta Handrabura (PSD), Alexandru Roman (PRCM), Gheorghe Brega and Elena Lupascu (PL), Eugenia Starcea (PPCD), Alexandru Tanase (PLD), Mihai Magdei and Victor Savin (AMN) and Sergiu Cires (PUM). Communist councilor Reghina Apostolova said the economic situation in Moldova was very serious in the 90s. That is why the number of children was small. “Then the kindergarten buildings were leased. Now the situation is different: we need more kindergartens. It is important to see what happened to those immovables and what purposes they are used for,” she said.
