The Chisinau Municipal Council approved the allocation of 2 million lei for providing the municipal education institutions with personal hygiene products by the end of this year. Relevant changes were made to the municipal budget, IPN reports.
It should be noted that a group of parents on October 23 protested in Chisinau, demanding decent hygienic conditions for children in kindergartens and schools. According to the Association “Solidary Parents”, the kindergartens in Chisinau are not supplied with liquid soap and toilet paper. A sum of 7 million a year lei is needed to solve the hygiene-related problems in education institutions.
