CMC approved additional allocation of 162,100 lei for children’s meals of specialised schools

Chisinau Municipal Council (CMC) approved allocation of additional 162,100 lei for children’s meals with mental and physical handicap of specialised schools of available resources. From the start, at the beginning of the week, in the decision draft on revising the budget for 2006 there were not foreseen money for this purpose, the amount being redirected for purchasing technical equipment for kitchens of the schools of municipality, being foreseen for this 1,237 million lei. The head of General Education, Youth and Sport Department of the Municipal Council of Chisinau, Alexandru Roman, informed that after allotting this money the children of specialised schools would be fed of 12.5 lei and not 7 lei as it was approved initially. Roman required repeatedly allocation of additional resources for appropriate meals of the children of specialised schools of the municipality of Chisinau. Previously, for meals of children of specialised schools there were allotted of municipal budget for 2006, 252,000 lei. There are two specialised schools in municipality for disabled children.
