Moldova’s futsal champion Classic Chisinau scored a victory in the first match of the new edition of the UEFA Cup. The team patronized by Ruslan Ciocoi beat Wrexham Futsal Club of Wales 7-4, IPN reports.
Classic was led before the break by 3-4, but in the second half controlled the hostilities on the field. Andrei Negara scored four goals, while Sergiu Nikolaichuk scored a hat trick. In the other match of the group, the champion of Armenia Leo Futsal Club defeated the host team Anorthosis Famagusta 5-1.
In the evening of August 24, Classic plays against Leo Futsal Club. Only the group winner qualifies for the next stage.
