According to the police, the products were supplied through the postal service. It was established that in 2012-2015, the members of the group illegally earned almost 2 million lei from their activity.

Upon searches at the offices, storehouses, homes and in vehicles of the illegal group, the police seized goods to the value of about 20 million lei, notes, stamps of a number of foreign companies, customs statements concerning delivery through the postal service abroad and other documents.

The suspects face a fine of 60,000 to 100,000 lei or up to six years in jail for tax evasion. They will also be banned from holding particular posts or performing particular activities for a period of five years.
