City Hall officials pass blames to each other over advertising in buses

Director of the Chisinau Electrical Transport Network Gheorghe Morgoci was called to account at the City Hall meeting on Monday, September 24, for the advertisements placed in the new trolleybuses despite the ban. Morgoci passed the blame to the architecture division, which issues the authorizations for ad placement. In turn, acting chief architect Radu Blaj said that the division authorized only exterior ads, not interior ones, Info-Prim Neo reports. The Mayor said he regrets that an European project turned into a Moldovan one from the transition times. “Remove the ads and wash the trolleybuses well. I want to see no glue traces”, said Dorin Chirtoaca. He also demanded the replacement of timetables in bus stations because most of them are deteriorated. 107 new trolleybuses circulate in Chisinau daily.
