Citizens will access online information about implementation of DCFTA

The citizens could access online updated information about the progress made by Moldova in implementing the Deep and Comprehensive Free Trade Agreement (DCFTA). In this regard, a group of experts worked out a platform to monitor the implementation of the DCFTA, IPN has learned from the Parliament’s press service.

Under the document, the mechanism will enable the general public to interactively access online updated information about the progress made in carrying out the DCFTA. Currently, the database is supplemented with information that comes from the Government and the process is to be completed in July.

At the same time, the application level of the legislative program for implementing the Moldova – EU Association Agreement for 2017 was examined based on the parliamentary platform. The accomplishments and drawbacks were presented in the meeting of the Parliamentary European Integration Council that was held on May 31.

Under the legislative program, 39 legal acts are to be adopted in the first half of 2017. A number of 27 legal acts were presented in Parliament. Of these, 12 were adopted, while 15 are under examination. As many as 69 actions have been planned for the second half of this year. Parliament undertook to carry out 111 measures for implementing the Moldova – EU Association Agreement.
