The authorities call on the citizens to plan their route through the capital city during May 31 and June 1 and 2 beforehand, taking into account the official information, and to also avoid the main arteries of Chisinau and the areas with limited access. Another recommendation is to avoid the Chisinau-Bulboaca road during the aforementioned period of time, IPN reports.
The General Police Inspectorate reminds that the European Political Community Summit that will take place at the Mimi Castle in Bulboaca village of Anenii Noi district will bring together about 50 heads of state and government and other officials of EU member states.
The police urge the citizens to have IDs on them so as to prove their identity and to behave calmly, understandingly and flexibly.
The authorities also said that to ensure aeronautic security, all the flights by civil aircraft will be banned all over the national airspace between midnight (local time) on June 1 and 7am (local time) on June 2, except for official aircraft. In case of civilian drones, the flying ban is valid for the period between midnight (local time) on May 31 and 7am (local time) on June 2.
Also, the parking place near the Chisinau International Airport will work according to a special regime between May 15 and May 25. In the period, parking on the inferior floors will be banned. The superior floor will be available for parking, but during May 25 – June 2 (7am, local time), the parking place will be fully closed.
The Republic of Moldova hists the European Political Community Summit on June 1, 2003. The participants will discuss key problems experienced on the continent, namely security, stability and cooperation.
